What can Personal Training do if you

If you have a health condition, injury or illness your Personal Trainer could very well be the hub of your health, fitness and holistic wellness. They will see you more regularly than any other professional and they have the knowledge to (with your written permission) communicate with your doctor, specialist, physio or other allied health practitioner to ensure you understand and are working in line with your treatment plan. If you are continually suffering from injury or movement dysfunctions that are resulting pain when exercising they can assess what may be occurring, help you ,mitigate that dysfunction and also refer you to your medical or allied health practitioner when required. That's where an experienced trainer comes in. Personal trainers work with all kinds of people and many of them may have specialties that allow them to work with clients with special needs to varying degrees.
Just some things your trainer may be able to help you with:
- Overall movement restoration
- Exercising with arthritic conditions
- Exercise with heart disease or cardiovascular conditions

- Dealing with old or chronic injuries, aches and niggles
