My passion for helping people through strength, fitness and movement stems from the fact that through my formative competitive sporting career. No one effectively answered why poor performance, injury or dysfunction occurred in the first place nor provided me with a practical solution to address it.
I love sport in all its forms and have personally competed in a diverse range of individual and team disciplines;
I genuinely wish I knew then what I know now: how to help those who desperately want the competitive edge achieve it in a way that both allows longevity in high performance whilst minimising risk.

Exercise, movement flow, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine are powerful complementary tools for improving physical and mental health that anyone can use with the proper guidance.
Although sport and fitness have had lifelong importance to me, their prioritisation hasn't always happened in the busyness of everyday life.
During those times, even though I knew this. I'd inadvertently find myself lost, unable to see it as a solution through the fog of PTSD and depression.
With help, I realised that it is not enough for something to be important. It needs to be constantly actioned, progressed and evolved to be truly effective.

Through the work I do for myself and my clients, I see and feel these benefits every day.
The common factor across the many sports and fitness activities that I have experienced is that people do best when they regularly move their bodies the right way for them at the right time.
I love the variety and challenge I can create to help clients restore their movement from aches, pain, and injury whilst building more everyday function and fitness. Seeing their confidence, happiness, and life satisfaction increase alongside their physical strength is incredible!
I am currently undertaking further education through the Master Functional Trainer program.
